Continuing the agenda to strengthen relations in the Oil, Gas, and Energy sector, the President of the Brazil-China Business and Trade Promotion Chamber (CPNCBC), Julio Kawano, paid an institutional visit to the headquarters of EDISEN, a major Petrobras administrative unit located in Rio de Janeiro. The meeting marked another step in bringing the Chamber closer to the main players in the national energy sector.

The meeting’s central agenda was the prospects and advancements of renewable energy in Brazil. In a global scenario where decarbonization has become imperative, the dialogue focused on identifying concrete opportunities for cooperation that unite Brazil’s natural potential with China’s technological capabilities.

Connecting Innovation and Sustainability

During the visit, strategies were addressed for joint technological development and the integration of sustainable solutions that can accelerate the energy transition in the country. EDISEN, being a hub for strategic decisions, served as the ideal environment to discuss how bilateral partnerships can unlock investments in energy efficiency and new models of clean generation.

This approach reinforces CPNCBC’s institutional commitment to act as a link between Brazilian and Chinese institutions. The goal is clear: to foster projects that not only drive innovation but also ensure sustainability and operational efficiency for the energy sector of both nations.

By maintaining an active dialogue with sector leaders, the Chamber reaffirms its role as a protagonist in building a modern bilateral agenda, where economic diplomacy serves as a lever for the development of green infrastructure and future technologies.
