The Brazil-China Business and Trade Promotion Chamber (CPNCBC) led an important technical visit to Smart Sampa, the central intelligent monitoring system of the city of São Paulo. The agenda included the presence of delegates from the China Security and Protection Industry Association (CSPIA), strengthening the axis of technological cooperation between the two countries.

The delegation was received by strategic authorities for São Paulo’s public management: the Secretary of Urban Security of São Paulo, Mr. Orlando Morando Júnior, and the former Mayor of Carapicuíba, Mr. Marco Aurélio dos Santos Neves.

The presence of political and technical leadership reinforced the institutional character of the visit, aimed at integrating high-performance security solutions.

Urban Technology Exchange

Smart Sampa is a reference in the use of cameras and data intelligence for crime prevention and combat.

The visit allowed the Chinese delegation to get a close look at the operational infrastructure of the São Paulo capital, while also enabling the exchange of know-how on innovations that the Chinese industry—represented by CSPIA—has been developing globally.

The meeting focused on strengthening institutional dialogue, exploring how Chinese expertise in Smart Cities and advanced surveillance systems can contribute to the evolution of urban security policies in Brazil.

Strengthening Strategic Partnerships

The agenda reinforced CPNCBC’s commitment to acting as a bridge between the Brazilian public demand for modernization and the international technological supply.

By gathering experienced public managers and representatives of China’s security industry, the Chamber stimulates an environment of mutual cooperation, focused on the efficiency of urban management and citizen protection through technology.
