In a high-level agenda held in June 2025, the Brazil-China Business and Trade Promotion Chamber (CPNCBC) led an institutional mission to the headquarters of PowerChina International in Beijing.
The meeting gathered authorities and strategic executives, including the Governor of Santa Catarina, Mr. Jorginho Mello, and the President of CPNCBC Jinan, Mr. Hao Xiaodong.
The visit marked a high point in the Chamber’s international operations, consolidating the dialogue on infrastructure, renewable energy, and sustainable engineering. The presence of the official delegation of the Government of Santa Catarina at the headquarters of the Chinese giant reinforced the alignment between the Brazilian public initiative, private investments, and institutional diplomacy.
Clean Energy Solutions
During the meeting, PowerChina presented its portfolio of global solutions in hydroelectric, solar, and wind energy, as well as large-scale engineering projects implemented in various emerging countries.
The meeting aimed to expand partnerships in infrastructure and energy, exploring how the Chinese company’s technical capacity can contribute to Brazil’s sustainable development, especially in the Southern region.
For CPNCBC, approaching corporations of this magnitude is vital to modernize the national energy matrix.
“PowerChina is a symbol of the integration between technology, scale, and sustainability. Bringing this expertise to Brazil is a strategic step for the future of national infrastructure,” stated President Julio Kawano.
Global Articulation
The meeting consolidated CPNCBC as a fundamental link between state governments and global corporations. By facilitating access for public decision-makers to cutting-edge technological partners, the Chamber reaffirms its role in building long-term sustainable partnerships, positioning Brazil as a priority destination for investments in green infrastructure.
