On June 13, 2025, the Brazil-China Business and Trade Promotion Chamber (CPNCBC) accompanied the official delegation of the China Security and Protection Industry Association (CSPIA) on an important institutional visit in São Paulo. The delegation was received by Federal Deputy Jilmar Tatto at the national headquarters of the Workers’ Party (PT).
The meeting’s central objective was to deepen the political and institutional dialogue between the two nations. The agenda prioritized strategic themes such as public security, technology, and urban innovation.
During the meeting, leaders discussed possibilities for technical exchange and cooperation in public policy, aiming for projects that unite sustainable development with the digital transformation of Brazilian cities.
Building Institutional Bridges
The presence of CSPIA, an entity representing the security and protection sector in China, alongside a representative of the Brazilian federal legislature, reinforces the mutual interest in aligning public management with the most modern global technological solutions.
For CPNCBC, approaching the political sphere is essential to sustain long-term partnerships. Chamber President Julio Kawano highlighted the relevance of this alignment for the future of bilateral relations:
“Institutional dialogue is the foundation for lasting partnerships. This rapprochement between the two countries is a concrete demonstration of respect and future vision.” — Julio Kawano.
The event symbolized the maturity of Sino-Brazilian relations, reaffirming the Chamber’s role as an active and necessary bridge between the government, the private sector, and civil society, always in search of innovation and shared prosperity.
