The Brazil-China Business and Trade Promotion Chamber (CPNCBC) promoted an important institutional meeting focused on the alignment between technology and regulatory frameworks.

The meeting gathered representatives from the Secretariat of Digital Rights (SEDIGI), linked to the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), and the leadership of the China Security and Protection Industry Association (CSPIA).

The working table included Mr. Ricardo Horta, Project Manager at SEDIGI, and Mr. Pedro, Advisor to the department. On the side of the Chinese delegation, Mr. Xu Junhuai, Deputy Director-General of CSPIA, participated, accompanied by members of the CPNCBC board.

Bilateral Dialogue on Strategic Projects

The meeting aimed to reinforce the bilateral dialogue at a time when security technology and data protection go hand in hand.

The meeting served to explore cooperation opportunities in strategic projects, seeking points of convergence between solutions developed by China’s security industry and the digital rights guidelines established by the Brazilian government.

For CPNCBC, facilitating this interlocution is fundamental. By bringing CSPIA closer to MJSP’s public policy managers, the Chamber contributes to a more transparent and secure business environment, where technological innovation respects and adapts to the digital rights norms in force in the country.
